Why You Should Go To School
We've often heard enough how a lot of people children at that wish they can go to school instead of working so early on in life to survive on a daily basis. We hear our parents say this every time we screw up in school. We hear it, but we don't listen. Anyway, not to sound preachy or anything, but we must realize that the importance of education cannot be emphasized enough.
Sometimes, we choose to not to go to college after graduating from high school because we are so hot to get our hands on the money we could be earning already. I must admit though, that there are actually those who succeed in making more money than they need without furthering their education. I salute them. But, I'm sure you've heard about some of these successful people going back to school later on in life to get a degree or get their high school diploma.
But why go back in your 30s when you can get that degree or diploma early on? Why not just stay and school and find out what you can get out of going to school. There are a lot of benefits you can get from going to school if you don't already know it. Here are just a few:
Friends
Going to classes, you have the bigger chance of meeting lifetime friends who can help you reach your goals in life whatever they are. They can be your support group when you are having a hard time in some of your classes, and you can help each other out by tutoring one another minus the extra pay you give to professional tutors.
Life Teachers
There are teachers who help you learn everything you need to know about biology and literature. But there are also teachers who go beyond their classroom duties and teach you more about life than you can ever learn inside the four corners of your classroom. They are the mentors you look up to and help you achieve more than you can ever expect from yourself.
Self-Esteem
When you know what you're talking about and you excel in your field, you start to gain self-confidence and you start to believe in yourself and your abilities. Education can help you know more about what field you'd like to pursue as a lifetime career.
Knowledge
In case you forgot, going to school lets you learn stuff you don't learn from watching movies or television shows; you get to experience this knowledge in the first person, and you learn to develop a love for books, for people; and for life itself.
We cannot push education on anybody, but you must know that you are depriving yourself from a rich learning experience if you refuse to go to school. After all, it's not everyday you get the chance to sit down with a group of people and learn stuff. And it's not everyday you get to have fun with other people while gaining something really positive that could help further your career.
