Ashley Massaro Biography

Born Ashley Marie Massaro on the 26th of May 1979, Ashley Massaro is a renowned wrestler and model currently signed to the SmackDown brand of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In 2005, Massaro won the RAW Diva Search. Two years later, she would appear on the cover of Playboy Magazine. Massaro is currently a contestant on the reality TV show Survivor in the United States of America.

Massaro was raised in Long Island, New York. Both her father and brother competed in amateur wrestling. She attended the State University of New York, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Business.

Ashley Massaro first came to World Wrestling Entertainment in the summer of 2005 as a contestant in the RAW Diva Search. She beat out seven other finalists to be declared the winner of the contest on an August episode of RAW. She won $250,000 and a one year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Ashley Massaro’s first appearance as an official WWE Diva was on an August 21, 2005 episode of HEAT. There, she conducted interviews with Mae Young, The Fabulous Moolah, and various fans. She later made her first pay per view appearance that evening washing Mr. McMahon’s presidential limo backstage alongside a number of other bikini clad divas.

One of Ashley Massaro’s biggest victories to date was at a New Year’s Revolution in the year 2006 when she won the first ever Bra and Panties Gauntlet match. By the end of the match, she was the only diva still wearing her clothes. In order to please the fans, she removed her clothes before making her final exit.

In a February 2007 episode of SmackDown, she revealed her Playboy cover. This sparked jealousy in fellow diva Jillian Hall, and the two began to feud. At No Way Out in the year 2007, Ashley won the first Diva Invitational by removing her top to reveal her breasts, which were covered in Playboy bunny pasties.

In addition to her illustrious wrestling career, Ashley Massaro has competed in several Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageants. She has been crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA and Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada. In addition, Massaro has appeared in such magazines as Maxim, FHM, and Stuff. She has also graced the covers of FLEX and Femme Fatale, in addition to her famous Playboy cover. Ashley Massaro has also hosted a number of E! Wild On! Episodes. She has appeared on Breaking Bonaduce as the personal trainer of Danny Bonaduce. She guest starred on an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition alongside WWE wrestlers Batista and John Cena. She has also hosted Celebrity Death Match.

Alongside Kane, she filmed an episode of Smallville that aired in March of 2007. The following month, she appeared as a guest on the Fuse TV television program The Sauce. Also that month, she appeared with a number of other WWE divas in the Timbaland video “Throw it On Me.” In the fall of 2007, she will appear on Survivor: China.
