General
What is eInternet Index?
eInternet Index is a human-reviewed web directory. We organize websites, businesses, services, and online resources into relevant categories and curated directory guides to help visitors discover them.
What does the one-time fee cover?
An approved paid listing has a one-time review fee, no scheduled expiry, and no recurring renewal fee. It remains listed for as long as einternetindex.com continues operating under the same operating team and the website continues to meet our directory requirements. A one-time fee is not a guarantee of permanent availability or continued service if the directory closes or changes operators. Listings may be suspended or removed if a website becomes unsafe, unavailable, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable. Homepage promotions have separate, fixed durations. Community Partner listings depend on a qualifying backlink; unclaimed Free listings may be removed at any time. This explanation does not override applicable legal rights or terms already agreed for an existing purchase.
Do you provide any guarantee?
We do not guarantee approval, search-engine indexing or rankings, visitor numbers, enquiries, sales, or any other business result. Every submission is subject to editorial review. A paid plan provides its stated directory features after approval, not a guaranteed SEO outcome or permanent position in search results.
What types of websites can I submit?
You can submit a working website for a business, professional service, organization, useful tool, or information resource that fits our categories. Provide an accurate description and only information, images, and links you are authorized to use. Our editors decide whether the site is suitable for inclusion.
Does a listing mean you endorse the website?
No. Editorial review helps us organize the directory; it is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of a listed business. Check a provider’s credentials, terms, and suitability before using its services.
How do directory guides work?
Directory guides bring together relevant published listings around a topic or location. They can include paid, Community Partner, and editor-created Free listings. Paid cards carry a Sponsored badge. Inclusion is curated, so submitting a listing does not guarantee a place in a particular guide.
Plans & payments
Which listing plans can I choose?
There are four public plans: Community Partner, Basic, Business, and Premium. Community Partner has no listing fee but requires a qualifying backlink. Basic, Business, and Premium have one-time fees. See View listing plans for current prices and the full comparison. Free listings are created by our staff, not submitted as a public plan.
Can I list my website in more than one category?
Basic and Community Partner allow one relevant category. Business allows up to five, and Premium up to ten. Select categories that genuinely describe your website; the plan limit is not a reason to add unrelated categories. Final category choices are subject to review.
Which plans include deep links, an address, and social links?
Basic includes your homepage link and business address. Business adds up to two deep links, four social links, and two gallery photos. Premium allows up to five deep links, eight social links, and five photos. Community Partner includes the homepage link but no business address or social links. All current plans include a website screenshot.
Can I include app links, awards, and a video?
Premium supports two mobile app links for Apple iOS and Google Android, up to five awards and achievements, and one YouTube or Vimeo video URL. Awards collect a title, issuing body, year, verification URL, optional badge image, and a short summary of up to 500 characters. Badge images must be JPG, PNG, or WebP, no larger than 2 MB or 2000 Ă— 2000 pixels. Arbitrary video embed HTML is not accepted.
Which payment method do you support?
We use PayPal for online checkout when payments are enabled. Save your selections, continue to PayPal, and confirm the payment when you return. We mark your order paid only after server-side verification. Sandbox checkout is clearly labeled and is for testing only. If the payment option is unavailable, contact support.
Does the one-time fee include homepage promotions?
No. Homepage promotions are optional extras for 30 days, 3 months (90 days), 6 months (180 days), or 1 year (365 days). Longer packages show their discount against the equivalent 30-day rate. A promotion does not bypass listing approval, extend its own duration indefinitely, or remove a Community Partner backlink requirement.
Can I get a refund if my website is rejected?
If we reject your website for a reason other than the prohibited content or activities described under What types of websites can be rejected?, we refund the listing review fee. Submissions involving those prohibited categories are not eligible for a refund under our policy, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Paying a review fee does not guarantee approval. Rejection does not automatically issue a PayPal refund; our team must arrange it.
Can I get a refund after my website is approved?
Once your website is approved, the listing review fee is non-refundable under our policy because it pays for reviewing the website and the details you submitted. It does not purchase guaranteed rankings, traffic, enquiries, or sales. This policy does not limit any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
How do I request an eligible refund?
Contact us with your submitted website address, order number, and PayPal transaction reference. Our team will check the review decision and payment, confirm eligibility, and arrange any refund due. Never send your PayPal password or card details. The listing review fee and any separately purchased homepage promotion are different charges; contact support about promotion-related refund questions.
Submission & review
How do I submit a website?
Choose Submit a Website, select a plan, and sign in or create an account using your email address. Complete the website form with your homepage URL, title, description, relevant categories, and any plan-supported details. Paid plans proceed to an order summary and optional extras; Community Partner proceeds to link selection. Submitting the form does not publish your listing.
How long does the review take?
The review turnaround is 48 hours for Basic, 24 hours for Business and Premium, and up to 7 days for Community Partner. The review clock starts after payment confirmation for paid listings, or backlink verification for Community Partner. Missing information or a request for clarification can delay completion; these are review timeframes, not guaranteed approval deadlines.
Why is my listing not published yet?
Your submission may still be awaiting payment, a qualifying backlink, additional information, or editorial review. Check My Account for your submission and order details. Approved listings are published by our team; saving a form or checkout selection alone does not trigger publication.
What types of websites can be rejected?
We do not accept websites that contain or promote pornography; violence or aggression; scams, hoaxes, or deliberately deceptive content; racial discrimination or hate speech; abusive, offensive, or defamatory material; copyright infringement; betting or gambling; or other unlawful content or activities. Submissions involving these prohibited categories are not eligible for a refund of the listing review fee under our policy, except where required by applicable law. Websites that are inaccessible, unsafe, spam-like, or do not match the submitted details may also be rejected. A published listing may be suspended or removed if it no longer meets our requirements. If you are unsure whether your website is suitable, contact us before paying.
Does a higher plan improve my Google ranking?
No search-engine ranking is promised. Premium has higher placement than Business in the directory, and Business above Basic; this refers to our directory’s ordering, not Google or any other search engine. Search relevance, filters, and optional promotions may affect where a visitor sees a listing.
How are outbound links and paid listings labelled?
Paid listing cards display a small Sponsored badge. Paid website profiles also show Sponsored above the screenshot or preview, at the top right. Paid outbound links use rel="sponsored"; Community Partner and Free listing links use rel="nofollow". Sponsorship identifies a paid directory placement, not an endorsement. Purchasing a listing is not a promise of do-follow links or SEO ranking credit.
Community Partner
How does the Community Partner plan work?
Submit your website, then choose a relevant link from our partner link list. Create a blog post or article on your own website related to your niche and include the selected link. Provide the article URL for verification. There is no listing fee, but publication requires backlink verification and editorial approval.
Where must I place the partner backlink?
The blog post or article must be on the submitted website’s domain, publicly accessible without login, relevant to your niche, and not marked noindex. Include the selected link clearly within useful content. We check the backlink before approval and periodically afterward.
What if no available link matches my niche?
Select the option indicating that no suitable niche link was found and tell us your desired niche. Our team will review the request and contact you about a suitable match. This does not waive the backlink requirement or automatically publish your listing.
What happens if I remove the backlink?
Community Partner publication depends on the qualifying backlink remaining available. If it is removed or stops qualifying, a 14-day grace period allows you to restore it. The listing may be suspended if the issue remains unresolved. Contact us once you have corrected the problem.
Can Community Partners buy homepage promotions?
Yes. After link selection or a niche request, you can choose an optional homepage promotion. Checkout is needed only if you select a paid promotion. Buying a promotion does not replace backlink verification or editorial approval.
Managing your listing
Can I edit a published listing?
Users cannot directly edit a published listing. Contact us with the listing URL and the exact changes you need. Our team reviews corrections before updating the public profile. Do not create a duplicate listing to request a change.
Can I upgrade my listing?
Contact us with your listing URL and the plan you would like. Our team can confirm the available upgrade process and any payment required before changes are made. Upgrades do not bypass editorial review.
How do I update or claim an unclaimed Free listing?
Free listings are created by our administrators or editors and can be removed at any time while unclaimed. Select Update this Listing below Report this Listing on the website profile to view the available public plans, or contact us with the listing URL and evidence that you represent the website. A claim requires an eligible public plan and ownership review by our team. The link does not grant immediate editing access or transfer ownership automatically. Do not submit a duplicate listing to claim an existing one.
Can I remove my listing?
Contact us with the listing URL and your removal request. Use an email address associated with the website where possible. We may ask for evidence that you own or represent it before making changes.
How do I report an incorrect or unsafe listing?
Use Report this Listing on the relevant website profile and describe the issue, including any useful evidence or URLs. You can also contact us. Reports are saved for our team to review; sending a report does not automatically remove a listing.
